On May 6, 2025, the Perry County Community Foundation gathered to celebrate the incredible resources PCCF provides to our local charities. It was a day to shine a spotlight on the amazing work happening across our community and the partners who make it possible.
We were honored to welcome guest speakers Katie Cissell and Amy McDonald, who shared their stories and insights.
Katie Cissell dedicates countless hours to organizing the annual Gettin’ Sauced BBQ competition, an event that not only brings people together but also raises vital funds for veterans.
Amy McDonald, who serves with Cape Girardeau Public Schools, brought her perspective on the importance of community resources and the difference PCCF can make for charitable organizations.
Events like this remind us why PCCF exists: to connect people, resources, and ideas that strengthen Perry County. We’re grateful for the chance to highlight the good work being done and to continue building a stronger future together.
