✨ PCCF Celebrates 10 Years with NFL Legends! ✨

On Thursday, November 7, 2024, Perry County showed up in a big way to celebrate a milestone—10 years of the Perry County Community Foundation! And what better way to mark the occasion than with two NFL Hall of Famers and a packed house of community pride?

The evening kicked off pep rally style, as St. Louis Rams Super Bowl Champion and 2011 Pro Football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk took the stage to fire up the local football teams that represent Perry County students. The energy was electric as he shared words of encouragement and inspiration with the next generation of athletes.

From there, the crowd enjoyed an unforgettable conversation between Faulk and fellow NFL legend Jackie Smith, guided by Emmy Award–winning sports broadcaster Martin Kilcoyne. Their stories, humor, and reflections on both football and life had the audience laughing, cheering, and leaning in to every word.

Beyond his Hall of Fame career, Faulk is also the founder of the Marshall Faulk Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for youth in San Diego, CA, by creating opportunities for them to live healthy, fulfilling lives. His commitment to giving back was the perfect complement to PCCF’s own mission of strengthening Perry County through philanthropy.
