Perry County Community Foundation awarded $10,000 for Coover Regional Recovery Program

The Perry County Community Foundation received a $10,000 grant for its community grantmaking program to support nonprofit agencies with pandemic recovery efforts.

The PCCF applied for the grant through the Coover Regional Recovery Program. The Community Foundation of the Ozarks manages


the Coover grantmaking program and opened this year’s grant round to its 52 affiliate foundations for proposals to support community recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Coover program is a partnership between the CFO and the Louis L. and Julia Dorothy Coover Charitable Foundation, managed by Commerce Trust Company.

The PCCF successfully applied for the funding to re-grant to nonprofits in their community. As one of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks’ 52 regional affiliate foundations, the PCCF was one of 30 Coover grant recipients. The PCCF will announce the opening of the community grantmaking opportunity within the next few weeks.

Each year, the PCCF provides annual grant opportunities to nonprofit agencies serving the community. Donations to the endowment help further this grantmaking and can be made at: cfozarks.org/perry-county.


Since its founding in 2014, the PCCF has distributed more than $1.8 million to improve the lives of Perry County area residents. The PCCF holds assets of $363,191as of Jan. 31, 2021.
